A small start · TadaTuck for iPhone
Start a home inventory without a spreadsheet
Start with the drawer you opened twice this week looking for the same cable.
Take a photo. Save where it goes. TadaTuck keeps those details together on your iPhone, ready for the next time you need to look it up.

One drawer is enough to begin
You can make a useful record before you have cataloged the rest of your home. Pick a drawer, shelf, or storage box you already use.
Take out a few things you sometimes forget about. A spare charger, a card reader, or a cable can each have a photo and a saved location. Add the record as you put the item away.
The first goal is simple: give yourself somewhere to look next time.
02 / SAVE THE BASICS
Keep the details you will need later
For each item, start with three things:
- A photo you can recognize.
- A name you would think to search for.
- The drawer, shelf, or box where you put it.
Use your own everyday location names.
- Example location
- Study cabinet, cable drawer
That tells you more than “electronics.” Check that the words in the record match the place you will actually open.
If you use Cloud AI to help fill in item details, review them before relying on them. You can also enter items manually or use On-Device Recognition.
03 / FIND IT AGAIN
Look it up before opening another box
When you need something, search your saved records and check its location. Use the photo to recognize the item you meant.
If the item has moved, update the record when you put it away again. You can build the habit a few things at a time, as part of the tidying you already do.
See the habit in a specific situation: finding the travel adapter before a work trip.
A FORMAT THAT FITS
Choose a format that fits what you want to remember
A spreadsheet can be useful when you want rows, columns, or calculations. If your immediate question is “What does it look like, and which drawer is it in?”, a photo with a saved location is another way to begin.
You can keep a spreadsheet that already works for you and start a photo record for the small things you want to find at home.
A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
Questions you might have
What should I record first?
Choose a small group of things you have trouble finding: spare cables, adapters, or belongings tucked into storage boxes.
Do I need to choose columns or build a template?
No. In TadaTuck, start by adding an item and saving its location. This routine focuses on photos, recognizable names, and the places you use at home.
Can I use it without Cloud AI?
Yes. You can enter items manually or use On-Device Recognition, then organize and search your records without enabling Cloud AI.
Where are my records stored?
Records are stored on your device by default. Pro users can choose to enable iCloud sync. If you choose Cloud AI, selected photos are sent for recognition with your consent.
What if I change where I keep something?
Update its saved location when you move it. That gives your next search a useful place to start.
One drawer is a good start
Make the next search a little easier
Choose one drawer. Record a few things. Build from there.
